Bnei Akiva Bnei Akiva is an orthodox youth group for jewish children between the ages of 7 & 18. Bnei Akiva runs programmes every Sunday between 12.30pm -2.30 pm in the B'nei rooms which are housed in the downstairs of the centre. Occassionally Bnei is held on Saturdays instead for the children to experience shabbat together in shule. On these days, children's shule services are held for the younger ones. Bnei Akiva camps are held twice a year in summer and winter. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Habonim Dror Habonim is a Jewish Zionist Youth movement. The group meets once a week on Sundays at the Moadon, on upper Cuba Street, near the synagogue. Habonim run their own camps twice a year joining with Habonim Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin at various locations.
