What does your child do on Sunday mornings? Our Cheder will help them read Hebrew, know basic Jewish history, New Zealand Jewish history, enjoy Jewish Holydays and much more. Hebrew School is a religious sunday school for children that don't attend the day school. Children gain a broad knowledge of hebrew, festivals and the cycle of the religious year. Children that attend are between the ages of 6 & 13 (up until Bar/Bat Mitzvah). Hebrew School runs every Sunday (excluding school holidays) from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at the centre, downstairs. If your child is not yet enrolled or you would like further information contact the centre office. The Rabbi also holds Talmud Torah classes every Sunday morning for and hour and a half. This is open to all children who are post Bar/Bat Mitzvah. |
